1. INTRODUCTION

Due to the global outbreak of the Coronavirus (also known as the COVID-19), the Company will allow its employees to work remotely to limit the spread of the virus.

Accordingly, this Remote Work Policy (the "Policy") provides rules, practices, and procedures for our employees who work remotely. It describes who can work remotely, when a remote work may be permitted, remote work schedule, best practices and guidelines to follow, and the legal rights of employee working remotely.

By signing this document, You acknowledge that You have reviewed this Remote Work Policy and agree to its terms.


2. SCOPE

This Policy applies to employees that are capable of working remotely.


3. ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for remote work, an employee is required to do as follows:

4. DURATION

Employees may continue to work remotely until the end of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak.


5. COMPLIANCE WITH
COMPANY POLICY

All employees working remotely are required to comply with all Company rules, policies and guidelines as contained in the Employee handbook.

6. REMOTE WORK SCHEDULE

All staff working remotely shall work within the following schedule:

7. DESIGNATED WORK AREA

All remote workers are required to work in a convenient workspace outside the office premises. To ensure maximum productivity while working remotely, employees should:

- Choose a quiet and organized work environment that is free from distraction.

- Ensure that they have good internet connection that is required for their job performance.

- Adhere to their remote work schedule, in relation to attendance, work hours and meetings.

- Dedicate their time and attention to their work.

The management shall inspect the employee's work environment to ensure that it is suitable for working and does not reduce the employee's productivity. The Company shall not be liable for any environmental hazard or injury that may occur in the remote environment.

8. WORK TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

The Company will provide the necessary work tools and equipment required for the job upon request.

Equipment we provide is Company property and should be kept in good condition. Specifically, employees must:

The work tools should be used for work-related assignments and projects as such equipment may not be used for personal use.


9. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Remote workers are entitled to some remuneration and other benefits, which may include bonuses, promotion, annual leave, medical leave and other benefits contained in the employment contract.

Particularly, employees working remotely, shall be entitled to the following benefits:

10. RIGHTS

All employees working remotely shall have the right to receive overtime pay, the right to make requests and complaints, and the right to attend conferences and training.

All remote workers will also be allowed to attend training, conferences and other meetings that are made available. Accordingly, the company will notify all remote workers of any impending or ongoing training or conference.


11. COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT

Every remote employee must comply with all the provisions of this Policy, as non-compliance shall attract disciplinary measures and outright dismissal depending on the circumstances of each case.

If any employee of the Company wishes to make a formal complaint about any issue arising from this Policy or challenge the compliance of this Policy, such issues should be reported in the following manner:

12. MODIFICATION OF THIS POLICY

The Company reserves the right to modify and revise this Policy from time to time. If any fundamental change is made, employees will be notified of such changes.


13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If any dispute arises from this Policy, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably. Any dispute which cannot be mutually resolved by the parties, shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the following arbitration rules: Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2004 or any statutory re-enactment or modification thereof.

The tribunal shall consist of ________ arbitrators who shall be elected in the following manner:
