This Employee Relocation Request Letter or Job Transfer Request Letter is a document an employee can send to their employer, requesting to move to a different branch or location of the company. Here, the employee is working for a company or organization that has different offices or branches within or outside the country. For example, if Company A has six branches located in Lagos and Enugu, an employee in the Lagos office can use this letter to request to be transferred to the company's Enugu office.

With this document, an employee may apply to either work in the same position or to work in a different position within their job level. For example, if an employee, who is a junior associate working in the finance department wants to transfer to the same department in their company's Enugu, then the employee wants to retain the same job. But if the employee wants to work in a different department as a junior associate, the employee does not retain the exact position but is within the same job level.
However, if the employee wants to apply for a higher position or promotion, then the Promotion Application Letter should be used instead.
