The Employment Contract Amendment is a document that amends, modifies, or otherwise alters an existing Employment Agreement. When an employer hires a new employee, the Employment Contract should be used to regulate the terms and conditions of an employment relationship.

However, in the case where the parties want to remove, add, or change provisions in the original employment agreement, this document should be used instead of drafting a new Employment Agreement, provided that the terms of the original contract allow such modifications. In other words, this document provides a cost-effective way to alter one or more areas of the original employment contract without changing other provisions in the agreement, which means that it only serves as an addendum or a supplement to an existing Employment Contract.

Note that this document can only be used to amend an already existing Employment Contract. To amend any other agreement other than the employment agreement, the Contract Amendment Agreement should be used instead.
